Reports and scorecards in a dashboard can be linked to one or more filters in the dashboard. Filters (typically set up by an Analyst or IT Administrator) are drop-down lists in the dashboard that appear to be separate from reports and scorecards but have the effect of restricting the displayed data according to the selected filter or filters.
You can filter the data in a scorecard in the following ways:
-
Filter mode. Use filter mode to sort or filter the rows that are displayed in a scorecard according to a variety of criteria. This lets you select the type of information and the level of detail that is most relevant for evaluating specific aspects of performance goals or strategies. For example, you might want to use filter mode to display only rows for the grocery stores with the highest annual sales.
-
Filter rows by indicator status. In a scorecard, you can temporarily remove some key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives from a scorecard by using the Filter Scores feature.
