To create a Windows SharePoint Services-based or SharePoint Portal Server 2003-based Web page with Dashboard Viewer for SharePoint Services, you must complete the following tasks after Dashboard Viewer for SharePoint Services have been installed:

Add Dashboard Viewer for SharePoint Services to a Windows SharePoint Services-based or SharePoint Portal Server 2003-based Web page.
Configure Dashboard Viewer for SharePoint Services.
Secure the Windows SharePoint Services-based or SharePoint Portal Server 2003-based Web page against unauthorized access.

Troubleshooting

In addition to setting up and configuring a Windows SharePoint Services-based or SharePoint Portal Server 2003-based Web page with Dashboard Viewer for SharePoint Services, you may have to troubleshoot issues that users of the page encounter while using the scorecard. The following table describes common issues that users of the page might encounter, with a solution for each issue.

Issue	Solution
Annotations are not available in the Scorecard View Web Part, and the Enable Annotations button does not appear on the Office Scorecard View toolbar.	Enable annotations on the scorecard server and in that scorecard view in Dashboard Designer. For information about how to enable annotations in Dashboard Designer, see Dashboard Designer Help.
Filters are not available in the Scorecard View Web Part.	Enable filters for the scorecard view in Dashboard Designer. For information about how to do this, see Dashboard Designer Help.
The Help button on the Office Web Components toolbar does not appear in PivotTable, PivotChart, or spreadsheet report views.	Increase the width of the report view in Dashboard Designer. For information about how to configure report views, see Dashboard Designer Help.
