Additional Actions are special functions that have been defined in the SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services cube that serves as the data source for the analytic chart. Not all analytic reports have Additional Actions defined.
To use Additional Actions

Right-click a chart value (on a bar in a bar chart or on a point in a line chart), click Additional Actions and then select one of the options (if any exist). The chart will automatically update to display the results of the applied action.

Additional Actions are defined in the Analysis Services cube. There may be one, more than one, or no actions defined for a given analytic chart.

Depending on how the analytic report is set up, Additional Actions may not be available, even if they are defined in the cube.
