​Financial Services Authority, July 7, 2015: Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) has revoked business license for individual securities broker-dealer representative named Joko Hardianto. The decision was issued as a follow-up measure of OJK`s investigation on violation committed by Joko Hardianto against stipulation in point 6 of letter b of Regulation Number V.E.1 appendix Decision of Head of Capital Market and Financial Institutions Supervisory Agency (Bapepam) Number : Kep-29/PM/1996 dated January 17, 1996 on code of conduct for securities companies operating as securities broker-dealers.

Joko Hardianto as sales person at a securities company of Medan branch has been found to have conducted transaction using securities account of his customer without any authority or not according to the customer`s demand, thereby caused some loss.

With the issuance of this decision, Decision Number: KEP-388/BL/WPPE/2010 on business license for securities broker-dealer representative dated October 12, 2010 for Joko Hardianto has been revoked and he is therefore prohibited from performing activities as securities broker-dealer representative.
