Mahendra Siregar was ordained by the Supreme Court as the Head of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on July 20th, 2022.
Mahendra had served as the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs from October 25th, 2019 to July 19, 2022. Prior to the position, he was the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia for the United States (2019), Chair of the Investment Coordinating Board (2013-2014), Vice Minister of Finance (2011-2013), and Vice Minister of Trade (2009-2011).
Apart from holding positions in government institutions, Mahendra also held commissioner positions in corporations and international organizations.
Mahendra obtained a Master of Economics from the Monash University, Melbourne in 1991 and a Bachelor of Economics from Universitas Indonesia in 1986.
Mirza Adityaswara was born in Surabaya on April 9, 1965, and has more than 30 years of career experience in finance and government. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics in 1992 from Universitas Indonesia in Jakarta. He continued his studies and earned a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, in 1995.
Mirza Adityaswara started his career as a Dealer at Bank Sumitomo Niaga in 1989. Then years later, he worked as Head of Securities Trading & Research at Bahana Sekuritas from 2002 to 2005.
Mirza continued his professional career in several financial service institutions, including the Director, Head of Equity Research & Bank Analysis at Credit Suisse Securities Indonesia from 2005-2008, the Managing Director, Head of Capital Market, and Mandiri Sekuritas as well as Chief Economist of Bank Mandiri Group during the period 2008–2010. He also has achievements as a Member of the Board of Commissioners and the Chief Executive of the Board of Commissioners at the Deposit Insurance Corporation in 2010-2013.
Mirza officially served as Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia from 2013 to 2019. While serving as Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, Mirza was also familiar with the duties and functions of the Financial Services Authority. During 2015-2019, he was given additional duties as a member of the Ex-Officio Financial Services Authority Board of Commissioners representing Bank Indonesia.
During that time, he was assigned to oversee the implementation of institutional synergies between Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority Board of Commissioners in macroprudential policies.
In addition, he has also served as Minister of Finance Experts in 2020-2022, and the President Director of the Indonesian Banking Development Institute in 2020-2022.
Dian Ediana Rae was born in Bandung, April 4, 1960. He graduated from the Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta, with a cum laude degree in Financial Economics Law. Dian completed his Master in Business Law from the School of Law, University of Chicago. He also took a Law Course at Georgetown University, Washington DC, United States, and the Summer School for International Finance Law at Oxford University, England.
In line with his knowledge, Dian is also widely involved in economic and business law fields. He started his career in finance at Bank Indonesia and served as Head of Representative of Bank Indonesia for Europe region in London in 2010-2013. Then, he was also assigned as the Head of Representative of Bank Indonesia Region VI whose authority covered the areas of West Java and Banten in 2013-2014, as well as Head of Regional I Department of Bank Indonesia for a term of 2014 -2016. Dian was appointed as the Deputy Chair of the Indonesian Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) in 2016-2020 and then appointed as the Chairman of the PPATK for the period 2020-2021.
In addition, Dian Ediana Rae has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Egmont Group Information Exchange Working Group. He was also elected as Regional Representative of the Egmont Group for the Asia Pacific region, a member of the Egmont Group Committee, and served as Co-Chair of the Financial Intelligence Consultative Group (FICG) in Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand in 2018-2021.
Inarno Djajadi was born in Yogyakarta, December 31, 1962. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Gadjah Mada University in 1981. He started his career in the capital market in 1989.
Inarno served as the President Director of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) through the General Meeting of Shareholders on June 29, 2018. Prior to serving at the IDX, he served as Treasury Officer at PT Aspac Uppindo Sekuritas (1989-1991), Director of PT Aspac Uppindo Sekuritas (1991-1997), Director of PT Mitra Duta Sekuritas (1997-1999), Director of PT Widari Sekuritas (1999), and President Director of PT Madani Sekuritas (2000-2003).
In addition, he has also served as President Director, Commissioner, and President Commissioner of PT KPEI (2003-2009, 2010-2013, dan 2013-2016), President Commissioner of PT Maybank Kim Eng Securities (2013-2014), President Commissioner of PT CIMB Niaga Sekuritas (2014-2017), and IDX Commissioner (2017-2018).
Inarno also has experience in various organizations throughout his career, including as a member of the Indonesian Securities Brokerage Association (IPEI) (1992-1994), a member of the Supervisory Board of the Indonesian Capital Market Professionals (2017-2020), and currently serves as the Chairman of Jakarta Economics Bachelors Association Raya (ISEI Jaya) from 2020.
Born in Bogor on May 21, 1961, Ogi Prastomiyono obtained bachelor's degree in Agricultural Industrial Technology from the Bogor Agricultural Institute in 1984 and Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, United States of America, in 1994.
He previously served as Strategic Service Director at PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) (2018-2021) and Deputy President Commissioner at PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (2020-2022).
Ogi started his career at the Bank Export Import Indonesia or Exim Bank in 1986. There, he served as a loan officer in the Plantation Credit Division. His last position at the Exim Bank was Head of Research and Development Division.
In 1999 he joined Bank Mandiri and held various positions before serving on the Board of Directors, namely Head of the Compliance Division (1999-2001), Deputy Chairman – IPO Working Team (2001-2003), Managing Director Bank Syariah Mandiri (2003-2005), Group Head Compliance (2005-2006), and Group Head Internal Audit (2006-2008).
And afterward, he was appointed as Director of Compliance & Human Capital of Bank Mandiri (2008-2014), Risk Management & Compliance (2014-2015), Director of Technology & Operations (2015-2016), and Director of Operations (2016-2018).
Friderica Widyasari Dewi attained her bachelor's degree in economics at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, in 2001. She then continued her education at California State University, USA, and received a Master of Business Administration degree in 2004. Following her Master's degree, Friderica earned a Doctorate in Leadership and Innovation Policy from Gadjah Mada University in 2019.
Friderica was born in Cepu, Central Java, on November 28, 1975. She worked at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for more than 10 years, since 2005 until becoming the Market Development Director of IDX, a position she held from 2009 to 2015.
She continued her career in a self-regulatory organization (SRO), namely Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI), as Director of Finance during 2015-2016. She then served as the organization's President Director from 2016 to 2019 before finally joined BRI Danareksa Sekuritas as President Director from 2020 to 2022.
Friderica holds several license in capital market from Financial Services Authority in 2019: Investment Manager Representative (WMI) and Broker Dealer Representative (WPPE).
Sophia Issabella Watimena, was born in Cirebon on 24 February 1969, earned her Bachelor degree in Accounting from Universitas Gajah Mada, before continued her degree at Leiden University, Netherland and Kuehne Logistics University, Germany to obtain Master of Business Administration (MBA). In addition, she has been qualified as Chartered Accountant (CA) which acknowledged by Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia (IAI).
Sophia began her career as external auditor at Ernst & Young (EY) and until she served as Senior Manager EY Transaction Advisory Services, likewise she was appointed as Internal Audit Manager at PT Semen Cibinong, Tbk. During her career, she had served as the Head of Finance Resource Management Unit UNDP. Afterward, Sophia was trusted as the Vice President of Advisory & Investment at PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance, one of the subsidiaries of PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur and many multilateral institutions. Sophia once joined PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Investama as Director of Operation & Finance. He then pursued a career at PT Indonesia Asahan Alumunium (Persero) or Inalum as Executive Director of Finance for one year. Then, from April to October 2021, he served as the Managing Director.
Sophia once joined PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero), as Director of Finance & Operation at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Investama and Director of Finance & Human Resources at PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal, Tbk. She further pursued her career at PT Indonesia Asahan Alumunium (Persero) as Executive Director of Finance and hereinafter she was trusted as the Managing Director.
Agusman was born in Padang on 6 August 1965. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Andalas University in 1989. He obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Economics and Finance from Curtin University of Technology in 1998. Afterwards, he obtained his PhD in Banking and Finance from the Australian National University in 2006 with a thesis entitled "An Empirical Examination of Bank Risk Taking - Asian Evidence".
He started his career in Bank Indonesia in 1992 after completing the Bank Examiner Candidate Education Program (PCPB) Batch 2 when he was inaugurated as the first best graduate. Before joining the Central Bank, he worked as an audit staff at a public accounting firm, a staff at management institute, and an accounting lecturer at a public university.
The majority of his career dealt with banking examination and supervision, and also banking research and regulation. Following the 1997/1998 financial crisis, he was appointed as a bank oversight at the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (BPPN). He was among the first that explored and introduced stress test, macroprudential policy and financial system surveillance. He involved in a number of domestic and international fora on banking and financial stability issues. His papers were published in academic journals such as Journal of Banking and Finance, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, and Research in International Business and Finance.
He held various positions in Bank Indonesia, including Executive Director/Head of several departments, namely Financial System Surveillance (2016-2017), Communication (2017-2019), Financial Market Development (2019), Internal Audit (2020-2023), and concluded his career as an Assistant Governor. He was also Head of the Supervisory Body of Bank Indonesia’s Pension Fund - Defined Contribution (Dapenbi - IP) since its establishment until the beginning of August 2023.
On 9 August 2023, Agusman was officially inducted as the Member of the Board of Commissioners of OJK based on the Presidential Decree No.67/P Year 2023 dated 26 July 2023.
Born in Purwakarta on April 27, 1970, Hasan Fawzi completed his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in 1993. He obtained Master of Business Administration (MBA) from LÍAE de Grenoble, Université Pierre Mendes, France. He then completed his Master’s in Management from the Economics Faculty of Universitas Indonesia in 2008.
Hasan Fawzi’s started his professional career in PT Kliring Depositori Efek Indonesia with his last position as the Head of System Development Department from 1993 to 1997. He then joined PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI) as the Head of Information Technology Division from 1997 to 2008. He continued his career as the Director of PT Penilai Harga Efek Indonesia (PHEI) from 2008 to 2012, President Director of KPEI for two terms (2012-2015 and 2015-2018), as well as Director of Development in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022.
Previously he also served as President Commissioner of PT PEFINDO Credit Bureau (2022-2023), President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner of PT RHB Sekuritas Indonesia (2022–2023), and Independent Commissioner of PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (2023).
Born in Surabaya on February 24, 1965, Doni Primanto Joewono studied Economics in Development Studies at Universitas Sebelas Maret, Solo, in 1988. He then continued his Master in Administration and Human Resources Development at the Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta, in 2004.
Doni Primanto Joewono started his career in 1999 in the Department of Monetary Management until 2000. His career continued as an economics researcher in the Department of Monetary Management (2000-2002).
He served as the Deputy Head of the Department of Economic and Monetary Statistics (2002-2005), the Head of Economics and Monetary Division of the Department of Economic and Monetary Statistics (2005), and the Head of Economic and Monetary Affairs at Bank Indonesia Semarang Office (2005). Doni was a Senior Economic Researcher (Deputy Director) at the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia London (2005-2008).
His career was preceded by leading the Bank Indonesia Solo Representative and others as the Regional Head. During that time, he was awarded the best Regional Inflation Control Team in Solo (2012) and Jakarta (2017). He also initiated various programs to encourage regional investment and economic empowerment of Islamic Boarding Schools.
Doni Primanto Joewono then became Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia based on Presidential Decree Number 78/P of 2020 dated 30 July 2020 and took the oath on 11 August 2020.
Wimboh Santoso took the first step of his career by taking a job as banking supervisor at Bank Indonesia, following the completion of his undergraduate study at the State University of Surakarta in 1983. He pursued a further study at University of Illinois and gained a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 1993. His thirst for knowledge led him to enroll to Loughborough University, from which he took home a PhD in Banking and Finance in 1999.
Wimboh, who was born on March 15th, 1957, in Boyolali, Central Java, continued dedicating his expertise to Indonesia’s banking industry by serving as Director of Banking Research and Regulation at Bank Indonesia from 2010 to 2012. Later, he was appointed as Head of Bank Indonesia Representative of New York, before joining the International Monetary Fund to take an executive director’s seat there. Since 2015, Wimboh has been the President Commissioner at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, and in 2016, he also became Indonesian Banking Development Institute Director.
The senior banker was part of Bank Indonesia delegation for a G20 meeting in 2010, and in the same year he also represented the Central Bank at the Financial Stability Board and the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. Then in 2014, he co-chaired the Asean Banking Integration Framework. The prominent bureaucrat attained a number of certificates from the Banking Professional Certification Institute (LSPP) for a range of topics, from Risk Management Competency Levels 1 and 2, Facing Global Challenges for Better Economic Growth (2017), to Managing Compliance Risk while Controlling Cost.
Wimboh has been teaching at leading universities in Indonesia, for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs and on top of that, he has produced considerable achievements and distinguished writings. Titles of his works include Effective Financial System Stability Framework (2007), the Impact of Global Liquidity on Financial Landscapes and Risk in the ASEAN-5 Countries (2007), Risk Profile of Households and the Impact on Financial Stability (2009), and many others.
In 1985, Nurhaida gained her engineering degree in textile chemistry from the Bandung Institute of Textile Technology. Ten years later, she added an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree to her name, following the completion of her postgraduate study at Indiana University Bloomington, the United States of America (USA).
Nurhaida, who was born in Padang Panjang on June 27th, 1959, began her career at the Ministry of Finance in 1989. She served in a number of positions, including the Ministry’s Expert Staff for Policies and Regulations of Financial Services and Capital Market in 2011, Chairman of the Capital Market and Financial Companies Supervisory Agency from 2011 to 2012, and Member of Financial Services Authority’s (OJK) 2012 - 2017 Board of Commissioners concurrently Executive Chairman of Capital Market Supervisor.
She honed her skills at international institutions, including Center for Creative Leadership, Colorado Spring, USA, where she attended the Leadership Development Programme in 2014 and 2016. Earlier, Nurhaida also participated in the 2010 International Institute on the Inspection and Oversight of Market Intermediaries—an annual conference held by the US Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington DC, USA.
Nurhaida has won a number of recognitions. She was named as one of the 71 Indonesian Inspiring Women by Obsession Media Group in 2016, and listed as one of the 99 Most Powerful Women by Globe Asia in 2015, the same year she was presented a Thomas Mural Medallion from Indiana University. Moreover, she was often invited to become a speaker at international events, including those held by Credit Suisse Securities in Hongkong (April 7, 2016), by Deutsche Bank in Singapore (February 21 - 22, 2016), by ASIFMA in Hongkong (December 2 - 3, 2015), by Financial Times in Malaysia (October 22, 2015), by Citi Group in Hongkong (September 8, 2015), and by Asia Pacific Financial Forum in Hongkong (January 27, 2015).
Heru Kristiyana was born in Salatiga, on September 5th, 1956. He graduated from Diponegoro University’s Faculty of Law in 1981. In 2000, he pursued his postgraduate study at IPWI School of Economics.
Heru served as Department Head of Banking Supervision III at Bank Indonesia in 2011. He thrived on the position, and as a result was appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Banking Supervision IV at the Financial Services Authority (OJK) from 2013 to 2016.
Adding to his academic credentials, Heru has earned a number of certification, one of which was presented by the Risk Management Certification Body in 2007 after he had attended a directors executive program on risk management certification. He also received Risk Management Certification Levels 1 and 2 from the same institute in 2016.
Born on February 21st, 1966, the Jakarta-native Hoesen earned a master’s degree in financial management from Pelita Harapan University. He led the Indonesia Stock Market Clearing House (KPEI) as its president director and remained at the helm for three years before moving on to the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The bourse installed Hoesen as Director of Corporate Appraisal and his term of service ran until 2015.
To polish up his craft, this 1990 graduate of Padjajaran University’s School of Agriculture has traveled across the globe. Hoesen flew to Washington DC, USA, to attend an event held by the Development and Regulation of Securities Markets International Institute in 2007, ten years after setting foot in Japan to take part in Clearing and Settlement, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, JICA Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Moreover, Hoesen was involved in the Global Custody and Portfolio Administration, State Street KDEI in 1996, Managing Change at the Indonesia Stock Market Clearing House (KPEI) in 2005 and participated in an event concerning issues on shares and transactions on shares at the capital market titled “Pledge of Shares, shares in repurchase transactions, lending and borrowing shares,” the Indonesian Capital Market Arbitration Board in 2007.
Prior to joining the OJK as a member of its Board of Commissioners, Hoesen had been heading PT Danareksa as the company’s director for the last two years.
Riswinandi was born in Jakarta, on September 12th, 1957. Only few years after obtaining his Bachelor Degree in Economics from Trisakti University in 1984, he started his 12-year tenure as HRG Vice President of PT Bank Niaga Tbk. In 1999, he joined Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) as Senior Vice President-Loan Work Out Division Head.
He continued pursuing his career by taking an offer to assume the director’s seat at PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Director. Three years later, Riswinandi became a Commissioner of PT Asuransi Ekspor Indonesia (Persero). From 2010 to 2015, he served as Vice President Director of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. Since 2015, Riswinandi has been the President Director of state-owned pawn shop PT Pegadaian (Persero) as well as a Commissioner of PEFINDO Credit Bureau.
The 2016 Deputy General Chairman of the National Banks Association (Perbanas) has obtained a number of certificates on a range of topics, including Enhancing The Power of Enterprise Risk Management in Creating a Sound Bank and Financial Risk Integration in 2016, Key Risk Management Challenge in 2015, Getting Ready for Uncertainty in Regulation and Market Environment, Recipes to Win Competition in 2013, and Optimizing Company Value through BCM & ERM in 2009 from the Banker Association for Risk Management.

Born in Banyuwangi, on July 19th, 1966, the 1988 Airlangga University graduate started his career by joining Bank Bali’s Officer Development Program for two years. He went on to become a Section Head of PT Bank Private Develop Finance Company of Indonesia until 1995.
In 2000, Ahmad received his Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Illinois. With a postgraduate degree in hand, the third best graduate of the 2002 Bank Indonesia Leadership Program I was appointed as Head of the Central Bank’s Financial Regulation, Planning and Reporting, and was also named as member of Bank Indonesia Pension Fund’s Supervisory Board in 2014.
In the same year, Ahmad also developed his skills further through a range of courses, such as the 6th SEACEN Intermediate Leadership Course: Leadership in Times of Uncertainty, held by the Seacen Center and BIS (Bank for International Settlements) in 2012; General Management on Pension Funds (MUDP), Cost Accounting and Performance Measurement, organized by Deutsche Bundesbank in Frankfurt; and as a chartered accountant, he joined the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants (IAI) in 2014.
The exposure described above was complemented with his involvement as member of the Steering Board of Bank Indonesia’s Financial Accounting Policies Committee in 2013, Yasporbi Patron for the year of 2014 and with attending Management Training for Pension Fund Management – Class XXV, which helped build his capability of running his job as Head of Tax Accounting Group in 2016. A year later, he was promoted to Finance Department Director of Bank Indonesia.
Having graduated from the Faculty of Accounting of Diponegoro University, Tirta Segara polished his craft in the field of finance by completing his postgraduate study at the George Washington University and earned a Master’s Degree in Business-Finance and Investment from there in 1994. A year later, Tirta embarked on a banking career by working as an investment banker at Ficorinvest Bank, Jakarta.
In 2001, the International Monetary Fund named him advisor to SEA VG Office. Later, Tirta moved to Bank Indonesia and after dedicated himself there for almost a decade, the man who was born in Semarang, on July 6th, 1963, was appointed as Deputy Secretariat General of the central bank employees’ association.
In 2014, the top graduate of Bank Indonesia Leader Staff school (SESPIBI) Class XXIX was promoted to Head of Communication Department. During his tenure, he produced a fair share of research publications or books such as ‘Memperkuat Kerangka Kebijakan Moneter (Strengthening Monetary Policies Framework),’ and ‘Jaga Stabilitas, Dukung Pemulihan Ekonomi (Maintain Stability, Support Economic Recovery).’
During his years of service at Bank Indonesia, Tirta often provided Advanced Education and Training I (Orientation)—Outdoor Management Development—in 2000 and Advanced Education and Training II—Outward Bound—in 2005.
Born in Jakarta on November 23, 1970. He earned a bachelor degree majoring in Economics from Universitas Indonesia in 1994, and his Master’s of Science from Cornell University USA in 1997. In 2003, he gained his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA.
Suahasil Nazara started his public service as a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia, since 1999. In 2009, he got his full professorship in Economics. Within the Universitas Indonesia, he served different positions such as the Director of Graduate Program in Economics (2004-2005), the Director of Demographic Institute (2005-2008), and Chair of Economics Department (2009-2013). Suahasil once served a member of Fiscal Decentralization Expert Team for Minister of Finance (2009-2011). He is also active in the Indonesian Bachelor of Economics Association (ISEI) as an administrator and he was also the Vice Chairman of Regional Autonomy Supervisory Committee in 2009-2015. Other functions he served include the Policy Group Coordinator of Secretariat of Poverty Reduction Acceleration National Team (TNP2K), Vice President Office (2010-2015); and the member of Presidential National Economic Committee (2013-2014)
In the era of President Joko Widodo's administration, he serves as the Acting Head of Fiscal Policy Agency; and on Oktober 31, 2016 was inaugurated as the Chairman of the Fiscal Policy Agency, at the Ministry of Finance.
On October 25, 2019, he was appointed as the Vice Minister of Finance by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo. Currently, Suahasil has also been given a mandate by the President as a Chair of the National Economic Recovery Task Force since March 2021 and he is also trusted to be Vice Chairperson of the Job Creation Law Task Force since May 2021.
Born in Jakarta, on September 19th 1966, Dody Waluyo finished his bachelor degree from University of Indonesia with major in economics and development dtudies. He continued his postgraduate study in University of Colorado and gained Master of Business Administration degree.
Dody started his career afterward as a staff of Human Resources Department in Bank Indonesia on 1988. During his time in Bank Indonesia, Dody has held several important positions as Head of Strategic Management and Governance Department (2014-2016), Head of Economic and Monetary Policy Departement (2013-2014), Head of Strategic Planning and Public Relations Department (2012-2013), Director of International Directorate (2012) and Bureau Chief of International Directorate (2010-2012).
On April 18th 2018, Dody has officially served as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia in accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 69/P 2018 dated April 13th 2018. He then appointed as an Ex-Officio Member of OJK Board of Commissioners from Bank Indonesia by Chief Justice of the Supreme Court on September 25th 2019 in accordance of Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 82/P 2019 dated on September 3rd 2019.
Muliaman Darmansyah Hadad was born in Bekasi, West Java, on April 3rd, 1960. He has graduated from Faculty of Economics at University of Indonesia in 1984 before continuing his Master’s degree at John F. Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University in Massachusetts, the U.S., in 1990 and earned Master of Public Administration degree a year later. In 1996, Muliaman had a Ph.D. degree in business and economics from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
Muliaman started his carrier as a general staff at Bank Indonesia of Mataram office in 1986. In 2003, he was promoted as Head of Financial System Stability Bureau, and two years later he served as Director of Directorate for Banking Research and Management. Muliaman was promoted as Bank Indonesia Deputy Governor based on Presidential Decree No. 69/P dated December 22nd, 2006, and was inaugurated on January 11th, 2007.
Muliaman is also active as Head of Indonesian Sharia Economic Community and is a lecturer at several universities, including postgraduate lecturer at Trisakti University, and was once in charge as Head of Alumni Association of Faculty of Economics in 2007-2010.
The former Secretary General of Central Committee for Indonesian Association of Economists or ISEI (2003-2006 and 2006-2009) was re-elected as Bank Indonesia Deputy Governor for his second term of office based on Presidential Decree No.75/P dated December 21st, 2011, and was inaugurated on December 29th, 2011.
On July 18th, 2012, Muliaman Dharmansyah Hadad was appointed as Chairman of Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) based on Presidential Decree No. 67/P of year 2012. The Head Focus Group of ISEI Central Committee (PP-ISEI) was sworn in on July 20th, 2012, by Chief Justice of Supreme Court for 2012-2017 term of office.
Rahmat Waluyanto bearded an academic title in accounting from Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta and has served long at the Ministry of Finance. He started his career in 1985 as a staff of Directorate of State Owned Enterprises Fostering, Directorate General of Internal Affair Monetary, Ministry of Finance.
In 2005, the man who was born in Lampung on October 3rd, 1956, was promoted as Director of Promissory Notes Management at Ministry of Finance’s Directorate General of Treasury, and was promoted a year later as Director General of Debt Management Office until July 2012. Rahmat Waluyanto, who was also an MBA graduate in finance from University of Denver, Colorado, U.S., once held a position as Alternate Governor of IMF, meaning Bank Indonesia Governor acting as IMF Governor in Washington D.C.
On July 18th, 2012, the Ph.D holder in accounting and finance from University of Birmingham, U.K., was named as member of OJK Board of Commissioners based on Presidential Decree No. 67/P of year 2012, and was sworn in on July 20th, 2012 before Chief Justice of Supreme Court for 2012-2017 term of office. And, based on Presidential Decree No. 72/P of year 2012, Rahmat Waluyanto was promoted as Deputy Chairman of OJK Board of Commissioners and Head of OJK Ethics Committee, concurrently as member.
Nelson Tampubolon gained Bachelor’s degree in economics from Faculty of Economics at Parahyangan University in Bandung, West Java, and Master of Science degree in Management (MSM) from Arthur D. Little Management Institute, Boston, U.S. Born in Balige, North Sumatra, in January 1954. He started his career at Bank Indonesia central office as General Staff of Bank Supervision for a year starting in 1982.
In 1983, he was assigned to study in New York, U.S., and was promoted in 1988 as Head of Bank Indonesia Organizational Development Division. After some professional promotion and rotation in several directorates, Nelson was appointed as Director of Banking Research and Management in 2002. From 2005 to 2008, he was in charge as Head of Bank Indonesia branch office in Singapore before continuing as Bank Indonesia Director for International Affairs Directorate from 2008 to January 2012.
Nelson is an alumnus of National Defence Agency (Lemhanas, now National Resilient Agency) of XIII batch (2005). He was named as member of OJK Board of Commissioner based on Presidential Decree No. 67/P dated July 18th, 2012, and was sworn in before Chief Justice of Supreme Court for 2012-2017 term of office.
Nurhaida was born in Padang Panjang, West Sumatra, on June 27th, 1959, and obtained her degree in Textile Engineering form Bandung Textile Institute, West Java. She had also completed her Master of Business Administration education at Indiana University in Bloomington, U.S.
Nurhaida started her career in government after as she joined Ministry of Finance in 1989. In 2006, she was in charge as Head of Financial Assessment Bureau for Real Sector Company at Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Agency (Bapepam LK). She was then promoted as Minister of Finance’s expert staff for the field of financial services policy and regulation, capital market and other financial institutions based on Presidential Decree No. 20/M of year 2011 dated January 21th, 2011.
On July 18th, 2012, Nurhaida was appointed as member of OJK Board of Commissioners based on Presidential Decree No. 67/P of year 2012. She was inaugurated and sworn in before Chief Justice of Supreme Court for 2012-2017 term of office.
Firdaus Djaelani started his civil servant career as a staff at Ministry of Finance in 1981. Born in Jakarta on December 1954, he was once in charge as member or head of operational team for various researches and preparation of law making, such as insurance law, pension fund law, law on OJK, law on Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), anti-money laundering act, and many more.
The 1993 alumnus of Management, Faculty of Economics at University of Indonesia, who is experienced as regulator as well as industry player in banking sector and non-bank sector (particularly insurance), was appointed as Director of Directorate of Insurance at Directorate General of Financial Institutions (DLJK), Ministry of Finance, from 2000 to 2006. He was once in charge as Director of Insurance and Risk Management at LPS from 2005 to 2008. The Master’s degree holder in economics from Ball State University in Indiana, U.S., was then promoted as member of LPS Board of Commissioners concurrently as LPS Chief Executive from 2008 to April 2012.
Firdaus gained doctoral degree from Gadjah Mada University in 2012 and is active as Head of Indonesia Senior Executive Association (ISEA), takes part in ISEI management, and performs as Advisor of Sharia Economic Community since 2009. Previously, he was a member of Expert Board of Indonesian Association of Muslim Intellectuals or ICMI (2006-2011), Deputy Head of Civil Society Association (2002-2006), and was on leadership of Betawi Consultative Body (1982-1990).
Firdaus Djelani was enacted as member of OJK Board of Commissioners based on Presidential Decree No. 67/P of year 2012. He was inaugurated and sworn in before Chief Justice of Supreme Court for 2012-2017 term of office.
Born in Bandung, West Java, on July 12nd, 1959, Ilya Avianti started her career as a lecturer at Faculty of Economics of Padjadjaran University (Unpad) in the same city in 1985. She gained Bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting, Magister title in accounting science and doctoral degree in accounting from the same university.
Since 2002, Ilya Avianti has been active in Indonesian Association of Accountants (IAI) with her latest position as Head of Board of Financial Accounting Standard (DSAK) of the association. She has also served as expert staff at Ministry of Finance in 2005 to 2006.
In 2007, Ilya worked as expert staff at Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). Two years later, she shifted as state finance main auditor at the agency’s State Finance Auditorate VII. After realizing that she was elected as one of candidates for OJK Board of Commissioners, she resigned from her profession as professor and permanent lecturer at Faculty of Economics in Unpad, which she had been doing since 2010.
On July 18th, 2012, the Head of DSAK Consultative Board and honorary member of Association of Indonesian Public Accountants (IAPI) was appointed as member of OJK Board of Commissioners based on Presidential Decree No. 67/P of year 2012. She was sworn in before Chief Justice of Supreme Court for 2012-2017 term of office.
Kusumaningtuti Sandriharmy Soetiono started her career as a staff at Credit Examination division of Credit Planning and Supervision at Bank Indonesia in 1980. Born in London, U.K., on July 21st, 1954, she gained a Bachelor’s degree in law from University of Indonesia in 1979 and a Legume Magister title from Washington College of Law at the American University, U.S., in 1984.
She holds doctoral degree in law from University of Indonesia and was promoted as deputy director to lead Directorate of Law at Bank Indonesia before being promoted as Director of Directorate of International Affairs at the central bank. Kusumaningtuti was once in charge as Director of Bank Indonesia’s Centre of Education and Study for Central Bank in 2006. A year later, she was assigned as Director of the bank’s Directorate of Human Resources. In 2010, Kusumaningtuti was mandated as Head of Bank Indonesia branch office in New York, U.S., for two years.
On July 18th, 2012, the title bearer of Master of Law in International Law and Legal Studies and Ph. D from the American University in Washington D.C., U.S., was named as member of OJK Board of Commissioners based on Presidential Decree No. 67/P of year 2012. She was sworn in before Chief Justice of Supreme Court for 2012-2017 term of office.
Mardiasmo was born in Solo, Central Java, on May 10, 1958. He has completed his education in accounting at Faculty of Economics and Business of Gadjah Mada University in 1981, magister program at University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States of America in 1989, and doctoral education at School of Public Policy, University of Birmingham, England in 1999.
On December 10, 2010, Mardiasmo was elected Chairman of National Council of the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants (IAI) for the period 2010-2014 in the 11th IAI Congress in Jakarta. In public sector, Mardiasmo once expressed his expectation that accountants should be able to safeguard state budget from planning to reporting, so that state budget is fairly allocated for aimed targets by mean of development.
The incumbent Chairman of Development and Finance Comptroller (BPKP) was once in charge in 2010 as Director General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK) at Finance Ministry under Finance Minister Sri Mulyani.
On June 28, 2012, State-Owned Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan appointed Mardiasmo as President Commissioner of Jasa Raharja based on decision of shareholders other than shareholders` general meeting (RUPS) on appointing members of board of commissioners of state-owned companies.
And on October 27, 2014, President Joko Widodo appointed Mardiasmo as Deputy Finance Minister for Working Cabinet (2014-2019), replacing Bambang Brodjonegoro who had served as Deputy Finance Minister in United Indonesia Cabinet II under the governance of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono for the period 2009-2014.
Mirza Adityaswara, born in Surabaya in 1965, graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Indonesia and subsequently received his Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.
Mirza began his career as a Dealer at Bank Sumitomo Niaga in 1989. From 2002 until October 2005, however, he was installed as Director, Head of Securities Trading & Research, Bahana Securities and then in November of the same year he was appointed as Director, Head of Equity Research & Bank Analysis at Credit Suisse Securities Indonesia. From 2008 – 2010, Mirza served as Managing Director, Head of Capital Market, Mandiri Securities and simultaneously as the Chief Economist for Bank Mandiri Group.
Prior to his appointment as Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, Mirza served on the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) and since April 2012 he has also functioned as the Chief Executive of the Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Board of Commissioners. In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 113/P of 2013, dated 30th September 2013, Mirza was sworn in as Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia on 3rd October 2013, incumbent for the period from 2013 – 2014.
Under Presidential Decree Number 62/P of 2014, Mirza Adityaswara is appointed the Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia for a term of office of 5 (five) years
