OJK REVOKES PT CREDIT SAISON INDONESIA FINANCE'S BUSINESS LICENSE
Jakarta, 30 September 2026. In accordance with the Decree Letter of the Members of the Board of Commissioners of Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) Number KEP-57/D.06/2026 dated 24 September 2026, OJK revokes PT Credit Saison Indonesia Finance (“PT CSIF")'s business license. PT CSIF is located in Cyber 2 Tower Fl. 29, Jalan H.R. Rasuna Said Blok X-5 No. 13, Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, 12950.
The revocation is due to PT CSIF's status determination as a Company that cannot be restored to financial health in accordance with the provisions from Article 38 Indonesia Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) Number 49 of 2024 on Supervision, Supervision Status Determination, and Supervision Follow-Up of Financing Institutions, Venture Capitals, Microfinance Institutions, and Other Financial Services Institutions as amended by POJK Number 25 of 2025 on the Amendment of Indonesia Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 49 of 2024 on Supervision, Supervision Status Determination, and Supervision Follow-Up of Financing Institutions, Venture Capitals, Microfinance Institutions, and Other Financial Services Institutions.
OJK has provided ample time for PT CSIF to carry out recovery measures in accordance with its special supervision status action plans. However, PT CSIF was unable to handle the root cause of their special supervision status until the end of the special supervision period. Therefore, it was declared as a Company that cannot be restored to financial health.
In accordance with Article 38 item (1) and item (2) of POJK Number 49 of 2024 on the Supervision, Supervision Status Determination, and Supervision Follow-Up of Financing Institutions, Venture Capitals, Microfinance Institutions, and Other Financial Services Institutions as amended by POJK Number 25 of 2025 on the Amendment of Indonesia Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 49 of 2024 on Supervision, Supervision Status Determination, and Supervision Follow-Up of Financing Institutions, Venture Capitals, Microfinance Institutions, and Other Financial Services Institutions, Indonesia decided to revoke PT CSIF's business license due to its status as Company that cannot be restored to financial health.
The supervisory measures from OJK, including the revocation of business license, carries out the provisions in the prevailing laws and regulations consistently and firmly to create a credible, healthy, and trustworthy Financing Company industry.
Following the revocation of its business license, PT CSIF is prohibited from engaging in business activities in the Financing Company sector and must settle its rights and responsibility in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations:
To settle the rights and responsibilities of Debtors, Creditors, and/or other parties;
To hold a general meeting of the shareholders 30 (thirty) working days after the business license revocation at the latest to dismiss PT CSIF legal entity and to form Liquidation Team;
To provide clear information regarding rights and responsibility fulfilment procedure for Debtors, Creditors, and/or other parties with interest;
To appoint Person(s)-In-Charge and Employee(s)-On-Duty for Customer Services and Task Force that will serve the Debtors and the Public until the formation of Liquidation Team. The appointment must be reported to Indonesia Financial Services Authority 5 (five) working days after the business license revocation declaration at the latest;
