Financial Services Authority (OJK) has released list of head office addresses of conventional commercial banks and Sharia commercial banks. Referring to banking law, a bank is a business entity which gathers funds from society in the form of deposits and channels the funds to the society in the form of credits or others so as to improve the society`s standard of living. As for business activities, conventional commercial banks and Sharia commercial banks provide services in payment transfers. OJK undertakes regulation and supervision over conventional commercial banks and Sharia commercial banks in accordance with Law No. 21 of 2011 on OJK.
