OJK's Membership in BCBS
The governance structure of the Basel Committee comprises a chair, standing groups focused on risk assessment, supervision, standard-setting and outreach, and the Secretariat hosted by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). The BCBS reports to the Group of Central Bank Governors and Heads of Supervision (GHOS) - its oversight body - and seeks its endorsement for major decisions.
OJK's current membership in the BCBS is as follows:
a. Member of the Group of Central Bank Governors and Heads of Supervision (GHOS) and the BCBS Committee (Level 1).
b. Member of three Level 2 BCBS Groups: Supervisory Cooperation Group (SCG), Risk and Vulnerabilities Group (RVG), and Policy and Standard Group (PSG).
c. Member of four Level 3/expert groups: Task Force on Climate Related Risk (TFCR), Accounting and Audit Expert Group (AAEG), Financial Technology Group (FTG), and Market Risk Group (MRG).
