The Education and Consumer Protection supports through regulating and execution of education and consumer protection, customer services, and consumer protection legal defense to ensure the facilitation of regulation and supervision of financial services activities.
In carrying out its functions, the Education and Consumer Protection has several main duties:
Providing customer services;
Supervising market conduct;
Conducting legal defense for consumer protection; and
Coordinating communication and public relations;
Serving as the institution's spokesperson; and
Performing other duties assigned by the Board of Commissioners
