TO BARESKRIM POLRI
Jakarta, 22 July 2026. Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) continues to support law enforcement and lender fund settlement of PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (PT DSI) in the special investigation that identified several assets, which were allegedly obtained using lender funds.
The special investigation traced lender funds and identified PT DSI assets, shareholders and management officials of PT DSI, as well as affiliated parties obtained through lender funds uses.
To substantiate this claim, OJK requested testimonies from 32 (thirty-two) parties, comprised of PT DSI shareholders, management, employees, and other related parties.
Based on the special audit, OJK identified assets acquired using PT DSI lender funds. The identified assets were submitted to Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police (Bareskrim Polri) from February to May 2026 to support law enforcement and lender funds settlement in accordance with the prevailing mechanism and provisions.
The special investigation followed up OJK's previous supervisory measures to PT DSI, namely:

- reporting to Bareskrim Polri on 15 October 2025 on lender funds misuse;
- imposing administrative sanctions: written warning, penalty fee, and business activities restriction on 15 October 2025;
- facilitating meetings between lender representatives and PT DSI;
- setting the special supervision status on 2 December 2025;
- issuing written instruction to the shareholders, Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, and Sharia Supervisory Board on 10 December 2025; and
- conducting inspection on the public accountant who audited PT DSI's annual financial reports.
OJK also continues to strengthen its cooperation with Bareskrim Polri, the Attorney General's Office of Indonesia, Indonesian Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK), and the Witness and Victim Protection Agency to support law enforcement procedures and to optimize PT DSI lender funds settlement.
OJK remains committed to consistently carrying out its regulatory and supervisory functions to protect consumers' interests, uphold law enforcement, and maintain the integrity of the financial services sector.
