Indonesian Financial Services Authority through Financial Services Authority Letter Number S-35/D.07/2025 dated September 1, 2025, has rejected the business license application as a Digital Financial Asset Trader of PT Bursa Kripto Indonesia, located at Axa Tower Kuningan City, 37th Floor, Jalan Prof. Dr. Satrio Kav. 18, Kuningan, Jakarta. The rejection of the business license application is effective as of the date the letter was issued. Simultaneously with the rejection of the said business license application, the registration as a Prospective Physical Crypto Asset Trader of PT Bursa Kripto Indonesia, which was established by the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency, is declared revoked and no longer valid.
With the rejection of the business license application and the revocation of the registration as a Prospective Physical Crypto Asset Trader, PT Bursa Kripto Indonesia is prohibited from conducting business activities in the field of Digital Financial Assets including Crypto Assets and is required to settle rights and obligations in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations, include:
Providing clear information to consumers, the public, and other interested parties regarding the mechanism for settling rights and obligations.
Providing an Information and Complaint Center for customers/public and appointing a person responsible for handling consumer complaints.
