LIST OF COOPERATIVES ENGAGING IN THE FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTOR
Jakarta, January 15, 2025. Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) has received the list of cooperatives engaging in the financial services sector from Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives as a mandate of the Law Number 4 of 2023 on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (“P2SK Law").
The Ministry of Cooperatives has submitted a list of 21 open-loop cooperatives through Letter Number B-3/M.KOP/PK.02.00/2025 dated January 10, 2025. These cooperatives fulfilled the criteria of the Ministry's assessments in accordance with Article 44B paragraph (2) in Article 202 of P2SK Law:

The listed cooperatives will be followed up by OJK in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations.
OJK will carry out socialization and publications on the follow up process for the open loop cooperatives in the context of development and strengthening as mandated in the P2SK Law.
Additionally, OJK will continue to coordinate with the Ministry of Cooperatives and the Cooperatives Bureau to ensure seamless follow-up measures, including licensing.
