OJK AND KSEI INTEGRATE LICENSING SYSTEM FOR
MUTUAL FUND INVESTMENT PRODUCTS
Jakarta, 22 December 2025. Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) and PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) launched Integrated Licensing and Registration System (SPRINT) OJK and Electronic Securities Registration System (SPEK) KSEI to simplify procedures, implement reliable services, and optimize mutual fund investment products registration governance.
The OJK-KSEI Integrated Investment Products Registration System was launched by Chief Executive of Capital Markets, Financial Derivatives, and Carbon Exchange Supervision of OJK Inarno Djajadi and the President Director of PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) Samsul Hidayat at the Main Hall of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Building, Jakarta, Monday.
Inarno Djajadi stated in his remark that the integration of SPRINT OJK and SPEK KSEI is a concrete measure to create a more efficient and futuristic capital market with high-quality services for industry and the public.
“The integration of SPRINT and SPEK goes beyond system connection; it represents a transformation toward new, more efficient ways of working that are streamlined, consistent, and service-quality oriented," Inarno stated.
Amid the quick-paced and dynamic capital market industry developments, effective, efficient, and integrated services are essential for better information governance, faster licensing procedures, and strengthen risk-based supervision while minimizing potential errors.
Inarno stated that through this integration, product registration procedures now can be carried out simultaneously in harmony, providing easiness for industry players and reliable services.
For the industry, this integration grants procedures clarity. While for OJK, the integration strengthens market-adaptive and responsive supervision.
Inarno expects the licensing system integration to be practically beneficial for the industry and to strengthen credibility and investor protection in the Indonesia capital market.
Samsul Hidayat stated in his remarks that the SPRINT and SPEK integration meant to accelerate and digitize mutual fund products registration procedures in support of green economy growth in the capital market.
“This initiative goes beyond administrative efficiency—it reflects KSEI's commitment to support the growth of a green and sustainable economy in the Indonesian capital market," Samsul said.
The system integration minimizes double submissions of required documents, improves registration processes to become more efficient, and maintains data consistency and integrity, in hopes to increase mutual fund product investors.
Samsul believes that interconnected system and solid integrity will build a strong foundation for Indonesia Capital Market to grow healthily, inclusively, and competitively.
System Integration Added Values
SPRINT and SPEK integration have major added values, as it significantly provides easy and quick registration processes for the investment management industry, reduces double request applications, and creates a simpler and more efficient process.
SPRINT and SPEK integration also have crucial effects to data quality. The system integration ensures accuracy increases and consistency of the data and documents registered in both OJK and KSEI. The data quality improvement will lead to:
- Better supervision: Accurate and consistent data will be used optimally by OJK and KSEI for supervision quality improvements, thereby allowing faster response based on the market risks data.
- Reliable public information: Reliable data quality will consequently affect the quality of information published to communities and investors.
