OJK Releases Information and Data on Securities Companies and Self Regulatory Organization

Financial Services Authority, July 8, 2014: Financial Services Authority (OJK) has released
database on securities companies under OJK supervision as of July 1, 2014. The
securities companies are those that run businesses and have license from OJK as
underwriter (PEE), broker-dealer (PPE), and investment manager (MI).
The database on
securities companies provides complete information about parties that own
business license as securities companies. The information encompasses:
- General
information (address, membership at stock exchange, status, tax identification
number (NPWP), phone/facsimile numbers).
- Owned
license.
Apart from database on securities companies, OJK has also
released database on self regulatory organization (SRO) functioning as authorities
in stock exchange that work under OJK supervision. Names of financial services
institutions included as SRO are PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI or Indonesia
Stock Exchange), PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI or Stock Market
Clearing House), PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI or Central
Securities Depository ), PT Penilai Harga Efek Indonesia (PHEI or Bond Pricing
Agency), and PT Penyelenggara Program Perlindungan Investor Efek Indonesia
(P3IEI or Securities Investor Protection Fund). The SRO database provides basic
information on the institutions` legality, names of directors and
commissioners, address and phone/facsimile
numbers.
