Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) issued Decision No. Kep-60/D.04/2013 concerning Sharia Securities List on November 19th, 2013. The issuance was based on OJK's periodic review on previous enacted Sharia Securities List. This was the second Sharia Securities List released in 2013 and functions as investment guidance for all parties that use Sharia Securities List, such as investment managers of Sharia mutual fund management, Sharia insurance, and investors intending to invest in Sharia securities portfolio. The list is also a guidance for Sharia index providers, such as PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) which releases Jakarta Islamic Index and Sharia Stock Index. The Sharia Securities List comprises of 328 types of securities, including shares of issuers and public companies, and also other kinds of Sharia securities.
