OJK REVOKES THE BUSINESS LICENSE OF PT BANK PEREKONOMIAN RAKYAT CEPER PERMATA ARTHA
Surakarta, June 25, 2026. The Financial Services Authority (OJK), pursuant to Board of Commissioners Member Decree Number KEPR-111/D.03/2026 dated June 25, 2026 on the Revocation of the Business License of PT Bank Perekonomian Rakyat Ceper Permata Artha, has revoked the business license of PT BPR Ceper Permata Artha, located at Jalan Raya Klaten–Solo Km. 8.4, Besole, Ceper District, Klaten Regency, Central Java.
The revocation of PT BPR Ceper Permata Artha's license is part of OJK's supervisory measures to strengthen the banking industry and preserve public trust in the financial system.
On June 18, 2025, OJK placed PT BPR Ceper Permata Artha under the Bank Under Rehabilitation (BDP) supervisory status after the bank's Minimum Capital Adequacy Ratio (KPMM) fell below 12 percent and its Bank Soundness Rating was assessed as Unhealthy.
Subsequently, on June 12, 2026, OJK placed PT BPR Ceper Permata Artha under the Bank Under Resolution (BDR) supervisory status after providing sufficient time for the bank's management and shareholders to implement recovery measures, particularly to address its capital issues, in accordance with Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) Number 28 of 2023 dated December 29, 2023 concerning the Determination of Supervisory Status and Follow-up Supervisory Actions for Rural Banks (BPR) and Sharia Rural Banks (BPRS). However, the bank's management and shareholders were unable to restore the bank's financial condition.
Based on the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) Board of Commissioners Member Decree Number S-R.8/ADK3/2026 dated June 17, 2026 regarding the resolution of PT BPR Ceper Permata Artha, LPS decided not to take further the remedial measures of the bank. LPS subsequently requested OJK to revoke the bank's business license.
In response to this request and pursuant to Article 19 of the above-mentioned POJK, OJK revoked the business license of PT BPR Ceper Permata Artha. Following the revocation, LPS will carry out its deposit insurance function and oversee the bank's liquidation process in accordance with Law Number 24 of 2004 on the Deposit Insurance Corporation and Law Number 4 of 2023 on Financial Sector Development and Strengthening.
OJK calls on consumers of PT BPR Ceper Permata Artha to remain calm, as deposits held in banks including Rural Banks (BPRs), are being guaranteed by LPS under the prevailing laws and regulations.
