OJK is an independent state institution that has the function, duty, and authority to regulate, supervise, examine, and investigate.
Haramain Billady was born in Jakarta on 29 November 1986. He completed his Bachelor's degree in management from Universitas Indonesia in 2008. He obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from Universitas Gajah Mada in 2016.
He held various positions in OJK, namely as head of sub-division performance monitoring & reporting – Strategic and Change Management Department (2014-2018), Head of Division (Senior Analyst) Strategy and Information Services – Board of Commissioners Secretariat and Public Relations Department (2018-2022), and Deputy Director (Executive Analyst) Strategic and Financial Planning Department (2022-2024). Head of Purwokerto OJK Office (December 2024-March 2026). His last position was Head of Maluku OJK Office since April 2026.
