OJK is an independent state institution that has the function, duty, and authority to regulate, supervise, examine, and investigate.
Darwisman was born in Tanjung Karang, Bandar Lampung City in 1968. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Management at the University of Lampung in 1993, and earned a Master's degree in Management from Diponegoro University in 2023.
Darwisman held various positions in OJK, namely as the Head of OJK Office of Jambi (2014-2017), the Head of OJK Office of West Sumatera (2017-2020), the Head of OJK Office of North Sulawesi, Gorontalo and Maluku (2020-2022), and the Head of OJK Office of South and West Sulawesi (2022-2025). Most recently, he serves as the Head of OJK Office of West Java since March 1, 2025 until now.
