OJK is an independent state institution that has the function, duty, and authority to regulate, supervise, examine, and investigate.
Budi Rahman was born in West Lampung, Lampung in 1980. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Accounting at from University of Lampung in 2005, and received his Master's degree in Risk Management from Diponegoro University in 2025.
Budi Rahman has held several key leadership positions. He served as Head of the Administration Subdivision at the Maluku Province OJK Office from 2015 to 2019, followed by his role as Head of the Financial Services Supervision Division at the Kalimantan Barat Province OJK Office from 2019 to 2025, and then as Head of the Financial Services Institutions Supervision Division at the OJK Banten in 2025. Most recently, he served as Head of the OJK Papua Barat and Papua Barat Daya Province OJK Office since November 2025.
